Metroid Samus Aran

Video game screenshot of a red and blue armored character standing before a huge glowing cyan sphere in a sci-fi chamber. A dialogue box reads: "ADAM" and "You are faced with overwhelming power. Accept your helplessness." Two-panel comparison. Left, text: "Male armor in videogames" above a figure in bulky orange and gold power armor with a red helmet and an arm cannon, as worn by Samus Aran from Metroid. Right, text: "Female armor in videogames" above Link from Breath of the Wild in the teal Gerudo outfit with a face veil, crop top, and baggy purple pants.
