Chassidic Parable

Screenshot of a Tumblr post titled "Why Did God Create Atheists?" retelling a Chassidic story in which a Master says atheists teach true compassion, because they help others out of an inner sense of morality, not religious command. The Master says to imagine there is no God who can help, and say "I will help you." Replies from razairazerci, naamahdarling and obsessedwithamedot praise it.
