Brainstorming vs Brainwriting

Two-panel stick figure doodle. Top, "What we think works: Brainstorming": four people at an oval table say "Blah", "I agree!" and "What he said!" while one says in a thought bubble "Can't get a word in..." and "Yikes!" Bottom, "What actually works: Brainwriting": Step One "Generate ideas independently", Step Two "Regroup to evaluate and discuss". @researchdoodles. Evidence: four cited studies.
