Watercolor cartoon of giant upright dominoes in a line. The first, in trans flag colors, reads "TRANS RIGHTS" and is tipping while small people strain to hold it up. The next dominoes read "GAY RIGHTS, FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION", "WOMEN'S RIGHTS, FREE LOVE", "FREE SPEECH, DEMOCRACY", "FREEDOM OF RELIGION, MODERNITY", then a faded "LITERACY". Caption: "UNITED WE STAND ★ DIVIDED WE FALL". Signed "Alfred 2024".

Trans Rights Domino Falls, Everything Else Follows

Two bearded people in winter jackets, one in a yellow hooded raincoat with a raised fist, hold a huge cardboard banner outside a stone government building. Trans flag colored letters read: "RESPECT MY TRANS HOMIES" then in black: "OR I'M GONNA IDENTIFY AS A FUCKING PROBLEM". Part of a face is in the corner. Sticker on brushed metal showing a white rat with a spiked collar holding a black flag, riding a black winged creature in front of a red sun, with three black crows flying around. Text: "WHAT IS MORAL IS OFTEN ILLEGAL" and "MAKE ANARCHY A THREAT AGAIN". Black-and-white photo of young protesters sitting and standing outside a columned building. A girl in a headband and denim overalls squints in front, while a girl behind her grimaces. A large handmade sign reads: "WE'LL BE LESS ACTIVIST IF YOU BE LESS SHIT". Partial signs nearby read "WHAT ABOUT", "FUT" and "FO". A young woman with curly hair, hoop earrings and a nose ring stands in an outdoor crowd holding a red poster board with handwritten black marker text: "We live in a world where trained cops can panic & act on impulse but untrained civilians must remain calm w/a gun in their face". The last line is underlined. Six-panel black-and-white comic by Simpson. Panel 1, caption: "I still run into some people who think like this:" A bearded man in sunglasses with a ponytail raises a finger and says, "As liberals, we must be polite to EVERYONE and give equal credence to ALL views." Panel 2, a young man in glasses reads a paper: "Here's a piece where a right-winger is calling for the New York Times to be firebombed." The sunglasses… A pink-to-red sign mounted on a dark stone wall below a red brick wall, above a white-framed window. White text reads: "THE "GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE" PEOPLE SURE SEEM TO THINK A BOOK CAN MAKE YOU GAY." Small text at bottom right: "@NoahGarfinkel".
