What Is Moral Is Often Illegal Anarchy Sticker

An anarchist street sticker with a flag-waving rat and crows plays on the MAGA slogan, a defiant bit of analog-era protest sticker culture Xennials will recognize.

Two bearded people in winter jackets, one in a yellow hooded raincoat with a raised fist, hold a huge cardboard banner outside a stone government building. Trans flag colored letters read: "RESPECT MY TRANS HOMIES" then in black: "OR I'M GONNA IDENTIFY AS A FUCKING PROBLEM". Part of a face is in the corner. Black-and-white photo of young protesters sitting and standing outside a columned building. A girl in a headband and denim overalls squints in front, while a girl behind her grimaces. A large handmade sign reads: "WE'LL BE LESS ACTIVIST IF YOU BE LESS SHIT". Partial signs nearby read "WHAT ABOUT", "FUT" and "FO". Watercolor cartoon of giant upright dominoes in a line. The first, in trans flag colors, reads "TRANS RIGHTS" and is tipping while small people strain to hold it up. The next dominoes read "GAY RIGHTS, FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION", "WOMEN'S RIGHTS, FREE LOVE", "FREE SPEECH, DEMOCRACY", "FREEDOM OF RELIGION, MODERNITY", then a faded "LITERACY". Caption: "UNITED WE STAND ★ DIVIDED WE FALL". Signed "Alfred 2024". A young woman with curly hair, hoop earrings and a nose ring stands in an outdoor crowd holding a red poster board with handwritten black marker text: "We live in a world where trained cops can panic & act on impulse but untrained civilians must remain calm w/a gun in their face". The last line is underlined. Neon yellow-green flyer printed in green ink. A rounded box reads: "WHITE SUPREMACY WON'T DIE UNTIL WHITE PEOPLE SEE IT AS A WHITE ISSUE THEY NEED TO SOLVE". A dotted green starburst reads "RATHER THAN". An oval below reads: "A BLACK ISSUE THEY NEED TO EMPHATHIZE WITH." A white-painted section of a brick wall on a city street displays a mural in large gray capital letters: "YOU ARE PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR BECOMING MORE ETHICAL THAN THE SOCIETY YOU GREW UP IN." A street lamp, tall glass building, and posted signs are visible around it.
