Comic panel on a tan background. A small figure in a space helmet and a big gray rocket-shaped jetpack blasts off in a cloud of black smoke, pointing and saying in a speech bubble: "YOU'RE ALL JUST JEALOUS OF MY JETPACK." An arrow labels the figure "SCIENCE FICTION." Below, three drawn figures, one with a pipe, one bald with round glasses, one with a bun, say "TUT TUT." An arrow labels them "PROPER LITERATURE." Digital sci-fi painting of an orange desert with tall red rock spires. A rusty, spider-legged wheeled rover climbs a dune. Behind it looms a giant, weathered, ring-shaped spaceship in a hazy purple sky with two moons. A fallen astronaut in a helmet lies in the lower right corner. No text. Painting of a white space shuttle numbered 9 with an open cargo bay and robotic arm holding a cylinder marked USA, above a curving Earth. A second shuttle numbered 2, a solar-paneled space station, two astronauts and the Moon float in the dark sky. Signed "mccall". Wide space-themed infographic titled "The Sol System. At the start of Leviathan Wakes" showing the Sun, planets, moons, asteroid belt and Kuiper belt, with a legend of UN, MCR, OPA control. Footer credits Beinahegut under a CC BY-SA 4.0 license. A screenshot of interview text, an exchange between an interviewer (O) and Pratchett (P). O asks why he writes fantasy, calling it a ghettoized genre. Pratchett answers that fantasy is the ur-literature, from Gilgamesh to Beowulf, ends by saying "That was a bloody good answer, though I say it myself." Cartoon: a man sits at a huge desktop monitor showing Michelangelo's Creation of Adam. A woman holds up a phone, whose speech bubble shows a close-up of a cherub's bare backside. She says: "OUR WEB DESIGN MAY LOOK LIKE A WORK OF ART ON DESKTOP, BUT ON MOBILE, IT LOOKS LIKE THIS." Tom Fishburne, marketoonist.com.
